This week is Mental Health Awareness Week and with our chosen charity for the year being Mind, we are proactively encouraging our team here at Benincà UK to openly discuss their mental health and speak out about how they are feeling.
The past year has been extremely tough on everyone and with the increased stress and worries, it’s had a huge impact on our mental health. We are passionate about raising awareness and supporting good mental health for all.
Collectively we can all fight for better mental health and help create a movement for positive change!
With the theme for Mental Health Awareness Week being ‘Nature’ we are encouraging the team here at Benincà UK to get outside and simply enjoy getting back in touch with nature. We plan to share some photos taken by the team throughout the week via our social channels, with the hope they may inspire others to take a break, step back for a few minutes, and ultimately help improve your mental health and wellbeing.

January hits hard, but January combined will full lockdown, definitely hits harder than ever before.
Unfortunately, there is still a huge stigma around mental health but 1 in 4 people will experience a problem of some kind each year in England, so for anyone reading this, we want to tell you:
It’s ok if today isn’t your day!
As we currently all look to keep ourselves safe and well, lockdown can be a very lonely place, so please don’t forget to look after your mind, as well as your body.
Looking to the year ahead, there are still so many uncertainties and we are all experiencing different struggles. A quote which spoke volumes to us, ‘We’re in the same storm, but not the same boat.’
So this is a reminder, please allow yourself to feel those emotions, talk about them and reach out, there is so much help available.
In light of the above, our chosen charity for 2021 will be Mind, all fundraising by Beninca UK throughout the year will be donated to help support the fantastic work they do.
If you need help, please visit their website for full details: mind.org.uk, or you can call on 0300 123 3393 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Stay strong! We are on the home straight and hope is in sight, with brighter days on their way!
