With a supreme hydraulic performance that has been rigorously tested up to 3500 cycles per day, the SPARTACUS bollard has one of the highest specifications on the market. A collection of twelve bollards of multiple heights and diameters, with fixed and semi-automatic options also, the SPARTACUS is everything you need.
Not only does the SPARTACUS bollard boast fast rising and lowering speeds of between 3-5 seconds and a huge 3500 cycles per day, it has another unique selling point. The smart position of the hydraulic pump, laterally positioned below ground and separate to the cylinder in order to avoid damage in the event of impact. This is also ideal to facilitate simple maintenance.

Apertura Gates are renowned for producing high-quality automatic gate installations. For this particular project, Apertura Gates initially installed automatic swing gates to the main entrance of a residential property, adding style and security. After a spate of thefts in the area, the end user reached out again looking to add further security to protect their assets and deter criminals. This was the perfect opportunity to recommend installing the SPARTACUS hydraulic automatic bollard to the front of the gates.
Apertura Gates installed the SPARTACUS 200/600 hydraulic automatic bollard, with its sleek design it looks incredibly stylish and compliments the dark anthracite gates situated behind. Renowned for its fast raising and lowering speeds (3-4 seconds) the SPARTACUS delivers speed and reliability. SPARTACUS 275/600 Bollard Installation in Kent, by JB Gate System
This particular bollard installation was required to secure and restrict access for owners of an apartment block in Gillingham, Kent. The end user specifically requested a rising bollard to provide access control to the main entrance, whilst allowing for quick and convenient entry for tenants.Â
JB Gate Systems installed the RISE SPARTACUS 275/600 Hydraulic Automatic Bollard, with its supreme hydraulic performance of up to 3500 cycles per day, the SPARTACUS was perfect for the job. Installing the 275mm diameter, 600mm tall model the SPARTACUS shows off its sleek and modern design with the built-in LED lights in the cylinder signalling when it’s in use. In the event of a power failure, the SPARTACUS will remain in the raised position, providing maximum security.
Delivering against the client’s brief of providing safe and controlled access, the end-user was extremely happy upon completion of the project and was delighted with both the quality of the SPARTACUS and the overall installation.
