Stunning Sliding Gate installed in Stratford-on-Avon by Avenue Systems.
Overview
With years of experience in supplying, installing, and maintaining extremely high-quality electric gates, Avenue Systems work hard to enhance the exterior of properties, whilst also providing greater security and privacy for homeowners. For this particular project, their client based in Stratford-on -Avon reached out looking to replace their existing steel framed cladded gate which they stressed had over the years become very unreliable causing them no end of issues. They were keen to upgrade their entrance to include a new automated sliding gate that would deliver security and reliability for years to come.
Challenges
Working extremely closely alongside the landscapers and builders on this project, Avenue Systems had to work hard to ensure the brand-new sliding gate fitted perfectly between the newly built sandstone piers. As you can see from the finished images, the sandstone piers add grandeur to the overall entrance, with the light colour of the sandstone complimenting the soft green pastel colour sliding gate perfectly.
Automation
Avenue Systems automated the sliding gate using a Benincà BULL8OM Sliding Gate Motor,an extremely popular electromechanical 230 Vac geared motor, capable of moving gates up to the weight of 800kg. With its 230 Vac oil lubricated gear box and integrated control panel, the BULL80M is renowned for its high-quality build and reliability.
A lot of people commonly confuse the product name and call it a “Bull Eighty”, whereas it is in fact a BULL8 OM, with the letter O marking the unique oil-lubricated gearbox. The oil lubrication works to reduce the mechanical wear of the components, which also in turn reduces the heat, ensuring the geared motor is kept cool for higher-duty cycles, enabling higher performance.
The BULL8OM also boasts a built-in encoder device that ensures crush prevention and ultimate precision in the gate moving phases, whilst the steel gearing and oil lubrication maximise durability and longevity.
Avenue Systems confirmed, “With every sliding gate we have ever installed, we have always chosen to automate each one using a Beninca BULL80M due to their proven reliability.”
Discretely installed on the inward-facing edge of the right-hand side pier, Avenue Systems installed a Telguard ML Solo GSM Intercom, the ideal solution for enabling seamless access for guests accessing the property.
