Overview
Auto Secure Systems are specialists in the automatic gate industry, with over 25 years of experience, they have built a reputation for installing high-quality electric gates.
For this particular project, their customer based in Chiddingfold, Surrey, initially enquired about looking for new automated swing gates to be installed at the front of their driveway. After Auto Secure Systems visited the site and inspected the entrance, it was clear there wasn’t a massive threshold and if swing gates were to be installed, they would open outwards, restricting access to the property from the main road. On this basis, Auto Secure Systems recommended an alternative solution of installing a sliding gate, making better use of the driveway space and ultimately much easier access.
Challenges
Positively, Auto Secure Systems said this project didn’t pose any challenges, other than working in the elements and unpleasant weather at the time. However, even working against the typically British weather, Auto Secure Systems are seasoned pros and delivered the project on time.
Automation
Auto Secure Systems powered the sliding gate using a Benincà BULL1224 TURBO sliding gate motor, capable of powering gate leaf’s up to a hefty weight of 1200 Kg. Samuel from Auto Secure Systems confirmed ‘I am a massive fan of the Benincà Bull turbo range, including the BULL624 Turbo and the BULL1224 Turbo. In this instance, I decided to use the BULL1224 Turbo due to its capabilities of running at incredible speeds of 24 m/min. It is an extremely robust and reliable motor!’
Auto Secure Systems are passionate about gate safety and installed five ASO safety edges, including the leading safety edge, alongside Benincà Pupilla photocells. For guests visiting the property, a stylish Optimus 4G Telguard intercom was installed on the front gate post, for communication and authorised access.
Auto Secure Systems have also added the finishing touches of a dusk till dawn sensor which controls the Collingwood LED lights.
Conclusion
Auto Secure Systems said the end customer was absolutely over the moon with the entrance and delighted with the wooden sliding gate and automation.
